We are very happy with our experience at Sooner Labs. We had planned on getting one puppy for our college age daughter, but were so impressed we... decided to get another for ourselves. Previously we have only purchased our other dogs from nationally recognized breeders where the pet had to be flown to us. In our search for a reputable and responsible Labrador Breeder we were thrilled to find one within driving distance. Sooner Labs met and exceed all of our expectations. We brought our puppy home a few days ago and we couldn’t not have asked for a better puppy or experience. Our little boy is the perfect addition to... our family. He is so sweet and so calm and so well behaved even at 7 weeks old. Destry was amazing to work with. He is very knowledgeable was able to answer all our questions and even checks in to make sure the puppy is adjusting well. They are extremely responsible breeders who love and care for each of their pups. 10/10 would recommend and would never get another dog that wasn’t a Sooner lab.read more

Amazing addition to our family! He is a bundle of energy, a super sweet boy, very intelligent, and ready for any adventure! He LOVES running the yard... with the kids and even climbs the slide himself to go down with the kids! He swings with them, loves the cars, plays in the kids tunnels, loves the slip n slide and kiddie pool- he is literally game for anything. He has been an incredible addition for our family and I have never seen our kids happier!read more

We have two beautiful dogs from Sooner Labs and could not be happier with every detail. We bought the dogs three years apart, so it’s tried and... true as far as we are concerned. Both dogs are female chocolates and both are beyond family/people friendly, both are extremely athletic and smart. They love our cat. Best family dogs out there. We received a wonderful yellow lab puppy a couple weeks ago from Sooner Labs. She is amazing smart happy and well adjusted. This lab was purchased... by my parents who had lost their lab in December. They are older and sooner Labs were so understanding and helpful in this purchase they keep him updated with pictures and information. He as so patient with my Dad it was refreshing to see this kind of care and understanding. I would highly recommend a lab from Sooner Labs excellent service and care given to customer and labs!!! We bought Easton(white lab) seven yrs ago so he has been a big part of our family for many yrs! He is gorgeous with a big block head! He is the... sweetest lab I have ever been around or owned! Sooner Labs was recommended to us after we called a local breeder who did not have any puppies for sale at that time. Destry was great to work with... as we made arrangements to purchase and pick up our new puppy. It was easy to see how much he cared about his puppies through our conversations prior to purchasing our puppy and with his follow up phone call to see how she was doing and willingness to answer any questions we might have. Our Ruby is now seven months old. We have had multiple family members and friends comment on her gentle and loving demeanor. She is a favorite with our grandchildren. She is smart, easy to train, and very loving. Ruby is the best! I would give her 10 stars if I could.read more

My experience with Sooner Labs was very positive. Destry is a family man, very knowledgeable, experienced and easy to work with. The well manicured... acreage was also very pleasing to the eye with ponds and bridges, inferring a safe and pleasant environment for the pups to be raised. I ended up with a female, English yellow lab, and she is such a joy. I am pleased to report that she is in top health and looks outstanding and she is a very happy, and loving lab. We picked up our chocolate girl Zoey about a week ago and she’s the absolute best, most mellow puppy I’ve ever met. I knew English labs were... supposed to have calmer temperaments than American labs, but she really is such a calm, attentive pup. My 10 year old and 5 year old are just in love. We reserved our girl about 6 months ago and Destry has been awesome about answering all of my questions and keeping us informed every step of the way. He was also very flexible with us when we were arranging taking time off to be able to begin the training process and offered to keep her a couple of weeks extra until we could take her. The Sooner Labs property is beautiful with lots of land all of their dogs are well taken care of. I highly recommend Sooner Labs and will send anyone looking for a new fur family member their way!read more

Couldn’t be more pleased with the English Yellow I got here. Lacey is as smart a dog as I’ve ever had. Actually, the smartest. She was house... trained inside of a week. I got her initially as a bird dog to hunt upland birds and ducks. She was also desired to be a part of our little family, and will always be an inside family dog. At just 4 months she was sniffing out Pheasant wings in very thick brush. Pups in the past have always needed to be tied nearby as we shot clays to get any sketch out of their systems regarding gunfire. She never flinched. I would recommend Sooner Labs to anyone who is after the best friend and companion they’ve ever had. Heck, I may even take another. Whatcha got Destry!?read more

In looking for an English Labrador breeder, I did a lot of research and chose Sooner Labs because of the great selection of "pup parents" and the... significant socialization the puppies get. Destry was terrific about answering all my questions, for months, and helping me choose the best litter for my needs. I was able to temperament test the males from the litter I chose, and pick just the right puppy; who will begin training to become my service dog, as my current one is retiring. We couldn't be happier with our newest addition Diesel (black male). We have a chocolate lab (male) and a yellow lab (female) and this was by far... the best experience in purchasing a Lab puppy. We looked and looked and looked for the "right" lab. Enter "Sooner Labs on my fb page and the following began. Numerous digs flashed thru my feed... and along happens Capo and as luck would have it he was back as sadly for the other family they couldnt take him. I inquired about him and my questions were answered promptly. Reserved him and made plans for the next day to pick him up. 5+ hours away we picked up our new baby, the process was smooth and fast and all my questions were answered. “Augustus”, now Niko Augustus, joined our family a few weeks ago. He is healthy, happy and socially adjusted quickly to have two “teen”... siblings greet him (one with momma instincts and one less thrilled brother). He was a surprise for my adult disabled son who was shocked to see a live puppy instead of getting canned goods from a friend who was also traveling to visit at the same time. Niko is growing like a weed and has quite the appetite. This week he decided the water dish is his pool so we got him a life vest and are in the process of teaching him water safety in the pool. Sooner Labs are top notch and the breeder is responsible, honest and cares where his fur babies will end up. I highly recommend.read more

He... called us back right away, and explained breeding processes, including medical tests. He also explained how adoption worked. We went out to visit a few days later, and picked a puppy. Several days before taking her home, we went out to see her again. Family was very accommodating both times, and was available to answer any questions. Highly recommend!read more

Sooner Labs was recommended to us by a local breeder. From the first phone call, they did an excellent job communicating about the upcoming litter.... Once the puppies were born, they sent picture updates regularly and answered questions promptly. Even though they are a six hour drive from our home they met us halfway and made coordinating the pickup date easy. Our puppy is extraordinarily cute, affectionate and our kids fell in love with her immediately. My friendship with Sooner Labs has been amazing through the years. We purchased our chocolate lab Angus 3 years ago after hearing about the breeder... through a friend. Communication has always been excellent, whenever we have a question (even 3 years after) Destry is always quick to answer. I've never had a worry or concern. Angus has always been healthy; the puppies are well socialized, clean, and well loved before finding their forever homes. We are extremely happy we got our lab from Sooner Labs; we knew what we were getting, he educated us on the testing, bloodlines, and health of the puppies.
